About Capital One Arena

Capital One Arena is home to the NBA's Washington Wizards, the NHL's 2018 Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals, and the NCAA's Georgetown Hoyas men's basketball team. Boasting an average of 220 events per year, Capital One Arena is the heart of an $9.2 billion redevelopment that began 22 years ago when the arena was built and opened on Dec. 2, 1997. Since then the privately financed arena has hosted 47 million people and more than 4,500 events.

The Capital One Arena box office is no longer a Ticketmaster retail outlet. We will only sell for Capital One Arena events. On the first day of an on sale for a concert, tickets will not be sold at the box office.

Children 3 years and older are required to have a ticket to all basketball, football, and hockey games, as well as the Harlem Globetrotters. For Disney on Ice and Monster Jam, all children 2 years and older require a ticket. Some family shows require a different age limit for tickets. Please check the event details page for show specific information.

Will Call opens 1 1/2 hours prior to show time or tickets can be picked up during regular business hours.

Tickets purchased at the Capital One Arena box office may incur a service charge, including purchases on the day of the show. (Rates may vary by event.) 

Tickets for Capital One Arena events can be purchased at the box office, online at www.ticketmaster.com, via Phonecharge at 1-800-745-3000 or any Ticketmaster outlet. Phonecharge is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
